Tim Clark is Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Customer Platforms & Enterprise Enablement at TD Bank. In his role, Tim provides leadership and strategic oversight for Canadian customer-facing technology. His accountabilities include end-to-end delivery supporting Canadian Personal Banking, Business Banking, Enterprise Payments, Digital Channels, Omni Channels, Wealth, and Insurance. He also serves as Chair for the Innovation, Technology & Shared Services (ITSS) Inclusion & Diversity Leadership Council (IDLC). As an accomplished technology executive, he has more than 20 years of experience leading global delivery organizations in North America, Europe and Asia. Tim’s expertise spans multiple business disciplines and he has extensive knowledge of products within Capital Markets, Retail Banking and Wealth Management. Tim joined TD in 2012 to lead the Risk Technology division within TD Securities. His mandate expanded in 2014 to include Equities, Operations, Data, Architecture & Regulatory Technology. Tim became the CIO of TD Wealth Technology Solutions in 2015, and soon after the CIO of Canadian Banking and Wealth Technology Solutions.
In 2018, his mandate also included Enterprise Information Management and Customer Assistance Technology Solutions and his position changed to CIO of Canadian Banking, Data & Customer Assistance Technology Solutions. Tim holds a Bachelor’s Degree (Honours) in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science from the University of Edinburgh. Originally from Scotland, Tim currently resides in Canada with his wife and three daughters. He enjoys cycling and is actively involved in his community by participating in local charities including the Tour for Kids and Ride to Conquer Cancer. He also serves on the Board of St. Mildred’s-Lightborne School.
