Margot Goodson

Margot C. Goodson CPA, CSSGB, is an experienced professional and former entrepreneur with over twenty-eight years of progressive knowledge in finance/accounting, project management, diversity & inclusion, process improvement, and managerial leadership across various marketplaces. Having led teams in both the public and private sector for banking, consulting, healthcare services and regulatory reporting, she now has her passion as her profession in the role of SAP North America’s Diversity & Inclusion Lead, on a quest to make “D&I our DNA at SAP!” Leading SAP North America’s Diversity & Inclusion strategy for the 24,500 colleagues in the United States and Canada, Margot is responsible for identifying, planning, executing and monitoring diversity reporting, policies, initiatives and programs for four focus areas including 1) Talent Attraction & Sourcing, 2) Employee Onboarding & Engagement, 3) Career Development & Advancement, and 4) Supplier Diversity across all demographics (gender, race/ethnicity, LGBTQ, generational, differently-abled individuals and veterans). Margot recognizes that an inclusive culture and related business practices are pertinent to the productivity, innovation and financial success of a company. Accordingly, she collaborates with internal stakeholders plus external organizations and entities to ensure SAP establishes strategic partnerships, policies and practices which enable them to leverage workforce and workplace assets with purpose. Margot enjoys designing and implementing business execution plans, advocating for the advancement of women and ethnic minorities in the workforce, facilitating strategic enablement workshops, and collaborating with SAP’s customer or partner ecosystem on industry panels. Additionally, Margot is a working mother, Teen Ministry Leader, Mentor and an active member of national and international community service organizations. She sits on the Board of the Pennsylvania Diversity Council, AnitaB.org MSI Community Advisory Board, the Black Tech Taskforce for Black Professionals in Tech Network, as well as oversees multiple Employee Network Groups within SAP America, Inc.
