Arthur is a Florida native, he grew up in a small rural town called Two Egg. In 2003, he completed his BSIE (Bachelor of Science, Industrial Engineering) at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, the first HBCU to garner Time magazines College of the Year in 1997. He secured his first engineering position with Zomax (3rd Party Logistics Vendor) in Memphis, Tennessee. In 2009, Arthur relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area to work as a Quality Systems Engineer for Logitech supporting AMER regional operations. In his infinite pursuit of happiness and a strong desire to combine his emotional intelligence with his technical prowess, after much deliberation, he made a career change focusing on technical talent acquisitions, specifically software engineering in the cloud computing space. Working at Salesforce, he has found his “sweet spot”. During his 6+ year tenure with the company, it has tripled in size and he has ascended from Contract Technology Recruiter to his most recent role as Director, Equality Talent Partner. He supports a team of 15, w/6 direct reports covering all of the diversity recruiting efforts for TMP, BT, & Corp. Arthur has been an integral part of several equality initiatives including the very first Autism@Work cohort at Salesforce responsible for hiring neurodiverse engineers in FY20.
