Alexandra McCalla


Alexandra is a Co-Founder of AirMatrix, a drone infrastructure company that “builds highways in the skies” for the drone usage revolution – currently working with the Canadian government and other entities. She was recently awarded the Communitech Fierce Founders $100k prize and has been featured on Women in Drones.

During her undergrad at the University of Toronto, she worked at numerous scaling tech start-ups in Toronto and Silicon Valley, gaining experience in product management, operations, and client services/sales. Upon graduating she moved into corporate consulting; rising in Capgemini’s business advisory and technology innovation practice, to become one of the firm’s youngest Senior Consultants globally. She then turned her attention to the drone/UAS industry, joining AirMatrix as their Chief Operating Officer to build the future for our skies.
